The documented SAPI-M weight range is 2.70–3.53 kg per plate, including the stated tolerances. Weight varies with size and specification.
The plate is one part of the equipment system. Correct positioning, a compatible carrier and an appropriate fit remain essential. We help confirm these details against your intended application before a configuration is supplied.
Match the plate size to the wearer and carrier.
Select the weight and profile for your required size and configuration. We confirm the final plate specification before ordering.
The documented Level IV configurations are specified as standalone plates. A separate soft ballistic backing panel is not part of that stated protection configuration. Follow the supplied carrier and fitting instructions.
Use the stated dimensions and thickness to assess the carrier pocket and secure retention. Final contour, fit and configuration details are confirmed before ordering.
A complete loadout includes more than the plate. Carrier weight, other protective equipment and the length of a shift all influence the wearer’s experience. Comparing plate weights on the same basis makes those decisions easier.
The final carried weight depends on plate size, configuration and coverage. Share your carrier and loadout requirements so we can identify the appropriate configuration.
